What I Do
Counselling
In the course of counselling we discuss emotional, social, education or spiritual matters, provision of support, of understanding a person, facilitating coping strategies and social support. Maria is not a health care practitioner but a counsellor and pedagogist she does not treat an individual's mental health of any health condition. Nor, does she provide advice with respect on how to treat a health condition. She is not a psychologist.
Special Needs
Special needs and disability Issues for all Ages. Assistance with individual education plans, curriculum modifications, special education consultations with schools, assistance for requests for accommodations in schools and workplaces and other issues faced in an individual's life due to illness or disability.
Conflict Mediation
Alternative dispute resolution, mediation, family challenges, divorce and co-parenting, workplace conflict, child support mediation, child custody, third party neutral, mediation, evaluation and Workplace Environmental Evaluations, individuals and family conflict.
